North Island Beaches

The North Island is a wild and largely secluded place. .. more

More About North Island Beaches

If you are looking for a slower pace and a less populated beach experience the north island just might be for you. The weather is unpredictable and there is an abundance of wildlife on the north island, so be prepared for both.

SAN JOSEF BAY - located in Cape Scott Provincial Park on the northern tip of Vancouver Island. This is a secluded, virtually empty white sand beach. It is approximately a 45 minute walk to the beach.

STOREY'S BEACH - Located about 10 minutes from Port Hardy proper, this is one of the islands best kept secrets. Beautiful sand beach dotted with nearby islands. It is great for ocean kayaking and watching the wildlife.
